The River Stour by Kerrie Ann Gardner.

Little things that happen in nature completely entrance me.

I was on an early morning walk along the River Stour, when the sun broke through a blanket of haze that had obscured it for far too long. In that moment, the river lit up. Golden light cascaded along the water and there, highlighted perfectly at the edge of the fingers of willow that tickled the water, was one branch, caught just above the flow as if it was a crook for the entire tree.
