‘Shag’ Painted Stone

Catch a Shag in the right light and its feathers have a beautiful green sheen. They also have fascinating aquamarine eyes. The name ‘Shag’ refers to the crest they display in the breeding season. They can be found on rocks and shores all around the coast, but unlike Cormorants, they are very rarely seen inland.

Dimensions: 11cm x 8cm
