‘Roller’ Painted Stone

Occasionally, Rollers turn up in the UK. I’ve never seen one, but coming across one of these beautiful blue birds, which are around the same size as a Eurasian Jay, must be thrilling. When they do come over to the UK, they tend to turn up around late spring to early summer, so be sure to keep a look out as the days get longer.
