‘Eider Ducks’ Painted Stone

Famed for their warm and snuggly ‘down’, Eiders are large seaducks which nest on northerly coasts. (Their down was so prized in the 19th century that Eiders nearly became extinct.) Once the chicks hatch, they join together to form crèches monitored by a collection of females. It’s an adorable sight, watching as their fluffy little bodies bob over the waves.

Dimensions: 14cm x 7cm
