‘Snake’s Head Fritillary’ Painted Stone

There is one Snake’s Head Fritillary (Fritillaria meleagris) growing in our garden and I look forward to its emergence every spring. I adore its chequered, bell-shaped flowers. When they catch the sunlight they are a dazzling sight. I would positively swoon if I saw an entire meadow full of these flowers!
